Camilla Constance Celebrates The Garter!

If there is one thing that I know about lingerie this year, it is all about the garter belts. To be honest, I do not think that the garter belt is actually celebrated enough and I think that too many women do not think to use that on their man versus just some simple lingerie pieces. Guys want to be surprised and if you do not own a garter belt yet, you might want to invest in one.

Camilla Constance is actually one of the few designers right now that is actually celebrating the garter belt in her newest Spring/Summer collection for 2010. As soon as you log onto her website, you will honestly see the garter belt being featured and to me, that is friggin’ awesome! The garter belt is something that is so timeless and so sexy that every woman should own at least one of them!

Just remember that Camilla Constance does make some kick ass garter belts and you truly should check them out at some point. Your man will want you all of the time as soon as you slip yourself into these belts!

Looking Slick in Ladylicks

Can you say va va voom? I know that you can — and how can you not upon seeing this gorgeous Ladylicks set by Afterwear? If ever a designer name was an underestimation, this one is it. This is not just afterwear, you want to wear it before, during, and after — so to speak!

What you see here is the bra, the panties (or knickers, as they are charmingly known), and the suspender belt.

All three come in a scintillating, uber feminine shade of pink — pink silk, no less, can you get any more luxurious than that? — with black tulle and a lovely polka dot accent very reminiscent of those ultra classy 1950s pinup girls.

The suspender belt nearly doubles as a full shape girdle, and at the top of both suspenders, you will find a gorgeous little pink rosebud. How could you not feel sexy in this ensemble?

I am a sucker for garter belts, but it is so hard to find garter belts that are both pretty and actually affordable. Either it’s inexpensive but cheap looking, or far too expensive. Even worse are the ones which are terribly expensive, but clearly do not look or feel like they are worth the amount of money you have to pay for them. It’s such a drag, you are pretty much tempted to give up the whole search.

If you feel like that, then before you actually throw in the towel, allow me to introduce you to Fleur T. Now, I love anything with a French connotation, I’m a sucker for that as well, so you know this lingerie designer is going to blow me away from the very beginning.

The designs alone could do that, though — check out this lovely garter belt, with matching panties. And it is only one of many. If you are into matching pieces of lingerie, there are entire sets from which you can choose.

Practical Underwear with Condom Pockets

Many novelty items are made each year in the name of lingerie but one would most likely not expect to wear them. They might give them or like to receive them as gag gifts but for the most part, the items are just fun and whimsy. But a group of students from Sweden have actually created a pair of underwear that is neither a novelty nor whimsical item. The high school aged students believe that being prepared is more practical than causing a life-changing event.

Their innovative pair of menâ€™s undies is so brilliant the three male students won the national Young Enterprise Award. Although, the product has just been announced with the acceptance of their award recently in Stockholm, the team has sold over three hundred and fifty pairs. Their goal is to help avoid unwanted pregnancies and sexually transmitted diseases.

The students have decided to further their promotional efforts by taking the year off school to approach stores and find retailers for their underwear. They also indicated that they would like to try to make a womenâ€™s line of condom pocket underwear as well.

Although their product is not the first on the market, it certainly needs mentioning because of the stand such young people have taken and the fact that they have successfully carried out their project.
