Now that we have talked about the silks, the sheers and finally the lace it is now time to talk about satin. By far, satin is the most popular fabric for lingerie in the world. Not only does satin feel absolutely fantastic against the skin, but it is certainly the fabric of choice for women who want to look and feel sexy in every way possible.

One problem with satin? It shows every single thing. It is not a forgiving fabric at all – and that is one of the major reasons why many women actually do not want to wear it but they still do … because it is sexy. If you are going to wear satin, make sure that you try it on before you buy it to ensure that it looks fantastic on you.

This is a lovely set from Leg Avenue. The black bra is trimmed in pink satin ribbons and has a pink lace border at the top. The adjustable straps are pink and the back is a hook and eye closure. The bra is underwired. The matching thong also has pink satin and lace trim. The garter belt includes adjustable garters, and has the black with pink trim, as well as a pink satin ribbon in the center. Itâ€™s made from a Nylon/Spandex blend and is $45.00 at Yumdrop.

This beautiful Southern Belle Corset is by Leg Avenue. It is a gorgeous satin corset with heavy boning and a black lace ruffle that has a satin ribbon intertwined in it. The front is hook and eyelet, and the back laces up. It also comes with a matching g-string. I love this piece, probably because I am a Southern Belle, but it is beautiful. The bust line is embroidered, and the front is adorned with satin ribbons and a bow in the center. The back is made of stretch mesh and has a hook and eye closure. The adjustable straps are embroidered, and there is a huge ribbon that ties in the back. The garters are removable, and you can get it in black or mocha. This piece is another great one from Shirley of Hollywood. Now, I have to tell you, I love corsets. I love the way that they hold everything in and up where it belongs, and I think they look really sexy, sort of like back in the gunslinger days sexy. This Satin Jacquard Corset is strapless, and has boning in a contrasting color. The venice lace trim is beautiful. There is a hook and eye closure in front, and a lace-up back. And, it comes with removable garters and a matching G-String. Oh, it comes in plus sizes, too. For $60.95, you can look gunslinger days sexy. Now, thatâ€™ll really make his eyes pop out.

Empress Lace Bra and Skirt

Okay, now I know I keep saying this oneâ€™s my favorite, and that oneâ€™s my favorite. But honestly, this Empress Lace Bra and Skirt by Dreamgirl is ONE of my favorites. It is simple, but beautiful and I love the skirt. I think lingerie skirts are elegant and adorable, and this one is lace and has an embroidery design just like the bra. And both have a tiny satin ribbon in front. It also comes with a matching thong, and you can get the set in Red, Lilac, or Coral. And, $38 is not a bad price for three pieces.
