Designer Spotlight: Elise Anderegg
I am in love with the color purple — so to speak. Typically whenever I see anything in a shed of purple, I’ll at least stop for a second look. That is the whim that just caused me to discover Elise Anderegg’s fabulous lingerie, and boy am I glad it did. It almost seems like serendipity.
The piece you see here is the Rive Gauche Chemise, in Saint German Violet. As you might guess. Elise Anderegg is definitely French. You can tell that just by the lace. This chemise is so stylish, it’s almost like a little dress all its own. Not only is it functional, but it is also hip and edgy. The drape is absolutely exquisite.
It is made of lace and silk, with wide straps made in silk. All told, it is 90 percent silk, 7 percent nylon, and 3 percent cotton — certainly a winning combination.
