Glamourize Your Lingerie
With Valentine’s Day fast approaching, I thought it might be fun to find ways to dress-up your lingerie and put you both in the mood.
High Heels – High heels make any woman look terrific. Whether she is petite or plus size, short or tall, the skinnier the heel, the longer and sleeker the legs appear so high heeled shoes are extremely sensual. Take the shoes off and your outfit is plain and drab. Add the shoes and wow, you look hot! So, pull on that animal print chemise, your sweet little thong and your favourite heels. Even if you aren’t waiting for someone special, feel sexy prancing around the house in your heels and best lingerie.
Nipple Covers – Peek-a-boo bras or open cup bras have become hugely popular. Dressing up the open cup can be a lot of fun. There are so many styles of nipple covers or pasties that can help you to embellish the outfit. Pasties started out as plain skin coloured adhesives to cover breast tips while wearing a sheer top. Now they include so many colours, styles, shapes and sizes that almost any peek-a-boo item can benefit from the addition of pasties. The other great thing about these covers is if you are going out to eat for that special occasion, you can wear your finest open cup bra or teddy under your sheerest blouse or dress and still look elegant in public.
Body Art and Temporary Tattoos – Stick-on body art comes in endless designs from flowers to animals to stripes, hearts and bows. Slip into your long, flowing, nightgown and add a ring of flowers around your upper arm. The contrast of the coloured flowers with the solid coloured material of the gown will dazzle and entrance.
Long Gloves – Gloves of any length add to an outfit whether it be lingerie or anything else. But to spice up that lingerie selection, choose gloves that come up above the elbow. Either peel them off gingerly to enhance the mood or keep them on and take another direction. Either way, gloves will be a treat.
Jewellery – Jewellery does not have to be expensive to be worn with lingerie. Costume jewellery has the same sparkling effect as real diamonds and gemstones. When wearing gloves, add a thick rhinestone bracelet on the wrist and watch your outfit go from zero to a million. Wear your skimpiest bra and thong and add a wide, obtrusive looking necklace to the ensemble.
Boas or Scarves – Marabou boas have always been popular with lingerie sets. Try something a little different and use a scarf to dress up the outfit.
