Practical Underwear with Condom Pockets
Many novelty items are made each year in the name of lingerie but one would most likely not expect to wear them. They might give them or like to receive them as gag gifts but for the most part, the items are just fun and whimsy. But a group of students from Sweden have actually created a pair of underwear that is neither a novelty nor whimsical item. The high school aged students believe that being prepared is more practical than causing a life-changing event.
Their innovative pair of men’s undies is so brilliant the three male students won the national Young Enterprise Award. Although, the product has just been announced with the acceptance of their award recently in Stockholm, the team has sold over three hundred and fifty pairs. Their goal is to help avoid unwanted pregnancies and sexually transmitted diseases.
The students have decided to further their promotional efforts by taking the year off school to approach stores and find retailers for their underwear. They also indicated that they would like to try to make a women’s line of condom pocket underwear as well.
Although their product is not the first on the market, it certainly needs mentioning because of the stand such young people have taken and the fact that they have successfully carried out their project.
